Jubilee event on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Compulsory Enforcement Service

On 5 May, the Compulsory Enforcement Service celebrates its 25th anniversary. Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan and other high-ranking guests were present at the jubilee event.

Minister Grigor Minasyan and Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer Arsen Mnatsakanyan first toured the hall of the Compulsory Enforcement Service servicing the citizens, and participated in the event.

In his welcome speech, congratulating the employees of the Service, the Minister noted that their work is priceless. The Minister highly appreciated the indicators of the Service for 2022, emphasising that the activities performed justified and even exceeded the expectations. “Dear guests, dear employees of the Compulsory Enforcement Service, I congratulate all of you on the occasion of the professional holiday and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Service.

A structure, a system was formed, without which it is impossible to achieve justice. I have a belief, and that belief has been strengthened in these difficult days when our country is struggling daily for economic well-being and other disasters.

I express my special gratitude to you, former heads of the Service, since without you this structure would not have the base, thanks to which we will further reform the system. We must be able to change the perception that this Service is not punishing, not evicting people from their homes, but restoring violated rights of people and administering justice”.

Congratulating the staff of the Service on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of formation of the Service and the 10th anniversary of the Professional Holiday of the Compulsory Enforcement Officer, Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer Arsen Mnatsakanyan said, “The quarter-century history of the Compulsory Enforcement Service is an evidence to the fact that the institution of the compulsory enforcement is already established in our country. It is an active mechanism, the main purpose and mission of which is to ensure the administration of final justice, restoration of the citizen’s violated right. The role of the structure is significant in the field of ensuring lawfulness, enhancing legal order, protecting and guaranteeing the rights and legitimate interests of citizens in the field of execution of judicial and other acts subject to enforcement on behalf of the Republic of Armenia. Continuous efforts shall be made together with the Ministry of Justice in the context of complex measures deriving from the Strategy for Judicial and Legal Reforms. Final result of these reforms depends on the daily hard work, dedication, willingness and responsibility of each of us.

In his speech, the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer also expressed gratitude to the employees of the Service for their faithful work, the Ministry of Justice for their constant support to the Service, and the veterans of the Service for their contribution to the establishment of the Service.

Minister Grigor Minasyan and Chief Enforcement Officer Arsen Mnatsakanyan granted symbolic rewards to the former Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officers for their contribution to the establishment of the Service.

During the solemn sitting, awards were granted to a number of employees who performed their duties in an exemplary and faithful manner. Extraordinary titles were awarded, souvenirs, letters of appreciation were handed over.

At the end of the event, a documentary about 25-year history of the Compulsory Enforcement Service was shown.
