Compulsory Enforcement Service Delegate Participated in Spring Plenary Session of the Permanent Council of the International Union of Bailiffs in Scotland

On behalf of the Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia the Head of the Legal Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Service, Gohar Mkrtchyan participated in the Spring Permanent Council meeting followed by the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Scottish National Chamber, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on May 19-20, due to the invitation of the president of the International Union of Judicial Officers Mark Schmitz.
During the Council, the semi-annual report of the Union was presented, the achievements of different countries were highlighted , especially in the process of confiscation of digital assets. Issues related to the implementation of the new Global Code of Digital Enforcement and its implementation in the drafting of national legislation in the Member States were discussed.
On behalf of the Service, Gohar Mkrtchyan had separate meetings with Mark Schmitz, President of the #UIHJ, and Mirian Kharabadze, the newly appointed President of the Georgian National Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement.
The Compulsory Enforcement Service of the RA has been a member of the International Union of Judicial Officers since 2015. Formed in 1952, the Union now has more than 90 member states.
