Results of activities of Compulsory Enforcement Service in first semester of 2022 summed up

On 15 July, under the chairmanship of Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer Sergey Meghryan, a reporting consultation was held in the administrative building of the Compulsory Enforcement Service with the participation of the senior administration of the Service, the heads and deputy heads of the subdivisions of the Central Body and the Yerevan City and Marz divisions and units. The results of the activities carried out by the Service in the first semester of the year 2022 and the reports on the main events were presented.

Head of the Division for Inspection and Analysis of the Compulsory Enforcement Service Vahe Movsisyan delivered a progress report. It was stated that improvement of the activity indicators of the Service has been recorded compared with the same reporting period of the previous years. In particular, the amount of sums confiscated in favour of natural persons has grown remarkably, tangible results have been recorded with regard to the effectiveness of implementation of non-property enforcement proceedings, and the amounts of enforcement expenses levied and transferred to the State Budget have grown significantly.

According to the agenda, Deputy Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer Levon Balyan, Assistant to the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer Elina Geghamyan, Head of the Division for Information Technologies Davit Knyazyan, Head of the Legal Division Gohar Mkrtchyan and Head of the General Division Martin Marutyan delivered reporting speeches.

The speakers touched upon the need for not only ensuring maximum access to information regarding enforcement proceedings for citizens, but also improving the quality of work of compulsory enforcement officers and reducing their workload through the ongoing introduction of electronic management toolkits.

The results of the studies, inspections and official investigations of the Control Department of the Ministry of Justice were also considered. The Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer gave respective assignments to fix the work-related omissions recorded, establish a uniform practice within all divisions of the Service by strictly adhering to the provisions of the valid circulars and assignments, as well as for significant improvement of the quality of organising activities.

Summing up the results of the activities carried out by the Service in the first semester of the year 2022, overall, the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer positively assessed the work done by the Service in the reporting period, noting that the performance indicators recorded by the Service as a result of consistent work will be more tangible by the end of the year.

When the consultation was over, a number of employees were awarded for their long-standing service, as well as for performing their official duties in an exemplary manner and in good faith.
