Representatives of Compulsory Enforcement Service participated in the regular meeting of the Working Group established in the Council of Ministers of Justice of CIS countries

Assistant to the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer Elina Geghamyan and Head of the Legal Division of the Compulsory Enforcement Service Gohar Mkrtchyan participated in the regular meeting of the Working Group established in the Council of Ministers of Justice of CIS countries on 21-22 December in the city of Minsk.

The discussion on the draft Agreement “On cooperation in the exchange of information during enforcement of judicial acts” was on the meeting agenda of the Working Group, within the scope of which it is proposed to provide an opportunity of exchanging information on the debtor and/or the location, composition of his or her property and other necessary information under the enforcement proceedings initiated in the CIS Member States.

A number of fundamental issues on the draft were discussed, which are of essential importance for the development of the version of the draft Agreement acceptable to the Republic of Armenia and for evaluating the necessity and expediency for concluding the Agreement later.

The members of the Working Group have discussed the inputs of the CIS Member States on the draft Agreement and decided to continue the work on the development of the draft at the next meeting of the Working Group to be held in March 2023.

During 2022, representatives of the Service, as members of the Working Group, participated in the regular meetings of the Group in an on-line format as well.
