The closing ceremony of the “First Psychological Aid” training courses and the awarding of certificates to the employees of the Enforcement Service took place at the Rescue Service, with the participation of the Chief Enforcement Officer Siro Amirkhanyan and the Director of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Rescue Service Kamo Tsutsulyan.

Approximately 45 employees from the central body of the Service, as well as from the Yerevan and regional subdivisions, participated in the phased training courses.

During the event, the heads of the partner organizations emphasized the importance of continuous, effective interdepartmental cooperation and discussed the necessary knowledge of correct communication methods with citizens and providing first psychological aid.

“In the case of any specialist, I greatly value the fact that, in addition to professional education, they also participate in training courses. The selected topic is very important, as enforcement officers often find themselves in situations where providing first psychological aid is also necessary. I am happy to note that the cooperation between the Enforcement Service and the Rescue Service has been achieved and organized at a high level,” stated Siro Amirkhanyan.

The course participants also expressed their satisfaction with the useful training conducted by the psychological department of the Rescue Service and the opportunity for experience exchange.
