Today, on the occasion of the 14th World Day of the judicial officer, a Seminar-Discussion was held with the management team and enforcement officers.
The Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter referred to as Service) has become a fully-authorized member of the International Union of Judicial Officers since 2015.
The International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ), which was formed in 1952, currently has over 93 member-states.
Each year, on this day, events with carefully selected themes are held by the member-states of UIHJ. The theme chosen for this year is: “The judicial officer, guardian and protector of Internet users’ rights”.
The Chief Enforcement Officer of the Republic of Armenia, Sergey Meghryan, has noted in his welcome speech that the cooperation between the Service and UIHJ has been beneficial not only in terms of the development and reinforcement of international collaboration, but also in terms of providing an opportunity for extending substantive professional discussions in the field of enforcement, and for the provision of advisory conclusions.
During the seminar the Deputy Chief Enforcement officer, Mr. Levon Balyan, the Assistant to the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer, press secretary Varduhi Petrosyan, Head of the Legal Department, Ms. Gohar Mkrtchyan, and the Information Technologies specialist of the Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Narek Khchoyan have spoken not only about the recognition of the UIHJ’s role, functions and the importance of promoting bilateral cooperation with it, but also about the significance of ensuring the continuity of complex reforms in the field of enforcement regarding the use of information technologies, and promotion of secure, literate, and knowledgeable media-consumption patterns.
The discussion concentrated heavily on managing the competent organization of the electronic document circulation, ensuring the protection of the rights and personal data of the beneficiaries. The questions raised by the speakers were followed by active discussions.
Within the framework of the day’s events, the Minister of Justice, Rustam Badasyan and the Deputy Minister of Justice, Suren Grigoryan visited the Service. In congratulating on the World Day of the Judicial Officer, Rustam Badasyan, stressed the need for the implementation of continuous reforms in the field of compulsory enforcement, and wished safe and productive service.
